Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within a high-growth SaaS or technology company
  • Proven experience sourcing SaaS applications and marketing/event services at scale
  • Expertise in procurement contract terms, compliance, and negotiation
  • Experience working directly with executives, including CFOs, GCs, CMOs, R&D and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrated success implementing procurement technologies and driving process improvements
  • Familiarity with tools ZIP and NetSuite is weighted heavily
  • Deep knowledge of spend analysis, vendor risk management, and procurement performance metrics
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities across global teams and time zones
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA is a plus
  • Ability to influence others with executive level communication and presentation skills
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and a track record of successfully working with cross-functional business stakeholders
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead, develop and enable career growth opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Assist current sourcing team to define and execute procurement strategies, particularly in core spend areas including SaaS/software licenses, cloud services, and high-profile marketing events (e.g., conferences, branded activations, media production)
  • Drive alignment between procurement objectives and company-wide growth and financial targets
  • Act as a key business partner cross-functionally, ensuring procurement provides the right level of influence in decision-making and planning
  • Continual focus on streamlining procurement touchpoints including budget and business case approvals, contract negotiations, data privacy/security and legal reviews
  • Develop, manage and track metrics and performance KPIs
  • Enhance procurement processes using tools such as ZIP, NetSuite, AI, and data analytics, or other procurement systems
  • Champion continuous improvement and implement best practices for strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, and process automation
  • Lead and mentor a team of senior sourcing managers, dedicated and knowledgeable procurement system administrators covering multiple categories and geographies
  • Continue the building of a culture of accountability, trust and learning through coaching and goal setting
