Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field from an accredited institution, with a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial statements. A minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting is required, along with strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and quantitative analysis. Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as ERP systems, Excel, and BI platforms is necessary, as is experience managing the implementation of an enterprise FP&A software solution. Candidates should be comfortable working with large datasets, highly organized with attention to detail, and able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A hands-on, analytical, and data-driven approach to problem-solving is essential. Experience in the media and/or advertising ecosystem is desired but not required. This is a hybrid position with occasional business travel to the NYC HQ.
The Sr. Director of FP&A will oversee the company's operating model, lead the annual budget process, and manage monthly financial forecasts. They will track key business metrics, provide data-driven recommendations to the leadership team, and collaborate with departments to develop financial models for complex business initiatives. This role involves serving as a strategic partner, delivering financial consulting, and enhancing reporting and metrics for better decision-making. Responsibilities include maintaining the financial operating model, leading the annual budget cycle from target setting to presentation building, and managing weekly/monthly forecast processes with department heads, including forecast variance analysis. The role also entails evaluating strategic proposals, building and maintaining headcount and compensation models, providing quarterly commission calculations, and supporting financing and M&A activities. Additionally, the Sr. Director will collaborate with the accounting team for FP&A analysis, continuously improve FP&A processes and methodologies, and research and implement an FP&A software solution.
