Requirements

  • Visionary leadership to guide and implement medical education and programs strategy aligned with organizational goals and stakeholder needs
  • Ability to provide strategic direction and leadership for the medical education and programs team, fostering innovation and outcomes
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Public Affairs, and Medical Affairs) to develop and implement integrated strategies aligned with Medical Affairs goals
  • Ensure compliance with ACCME, FDA, OIG, and other relevant guidelines, as well as Gilead policies and federal/state/local statutes and regulations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes in medical education to inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including medical professionals, professional associations, and educators
  • Operational oversight, including effective management of budgeting, resource allocation, and performance management
  • Ability to navigate complex challenges and drive strategic objectives in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape
  • Experience as a people leader to evolve culture and create an inclusive, developmental environment (as per general Gilead expectations)
