Requirements

  • Deep understanding of consumer insights (attitudes, behaviors, needs) and market insights (environment dynamics, treatment landscape, competitor strategies)
  • Expertise in localizing patient flow models, from/to beliefs, and behaviors for target consumer segments and sub-segments
  • Ability to co-shape US Consumer Strategy, including foundational value proposition, differentiators, headwinds, tailwinds, strategic choices, KPIs, goals, adjacent efforts, risks, and mitigation
  • Proficiency in defining Consumer Activation & Engagement Plans, including priority campaigns, programs, channels (PESO), personalization priorities, and KPIs
  • Experience building Therapeutic Area Content Strategy and US Consumer Claims from Global core claims and CCMEs
  • Skills in developing Campaign Strategy Briefs, Experience and Tactic Briefs, and briefing central capability teams (e.g., Consumer Creative & Advertising, Communications, Media) and agencies
  • Capability to own comprehensive, integrated consumer marketing plans, budgets, and goals
  • Ability to orchestrate execution across central capability teams for alignment, coherence, efficiency, and flywheel performance
  • Expertise in championing consumer insights, feedback, and experience throughout processes
  • Experience partnering with Consumer Creative & Advertising on campaign development, pre/during/postproduction, approvals, segment/channel/content pull-through, and OPDP processes
  • Knowledge of leading execution of Activation & Engagement efforts, MLRO approvals, Veeva, and lifecycle management
  • Accountability for performance of activation and consumer-driven leakage at treatment decision, partnering with BI teams
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional colleagues (Global TA, US TA, GCO teams)
  • Coaching and developing top marketing talent
  • Advancing consumer marketing capabilities to be fit-for-future

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global and US Marketing Teams to develop deep understanding of consumer and market insights
  • Lead localization of patient flow model and from/to beliefs and behaviors for target consumer segments and sub-segments
  • Co-shape US Consumer Strategy with TA Consumer Leader, Brand Leader(s), and Patient Experience Senior Director
  • Define Consumer Activation & Engagement Plans – priority campaigns, programs, channels (PESO), personalization, KPIs
  • Lead development of Therapeutic Area Content Strategy and specific US Consumer Claims
  • Develop Campaign Strategy Briefs and brief central capability teams and agencies
  • Lead development of Experience and Tactic Briefs for Activation & Engagement efforts beyond core campaigns
  • Own comprehensive, integrated consumer marketing plan, budget, and goals
  • Orchestrate execution across central capability teams for alignment to strategy, coherence, efficiency, and flywheel performance
  • Champion consumer insights, feedback, and experience throughout processes
  • Partner with Consumer Creative & Advertising on campaign development, production processes, approvals, segment/channel/content execution, and OPDP representation
  • Lead execution of Activation & Engagement efforts beyond core campaigns and derivations of core tactics
  • Lead related MLRO approvals, Veeva, and lifecycle management
  • Accountable for performance of activation and consumer-driven leakage at treatment decision; partner with BI
  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues (particularly Global TA, US TA, GCO teams)
