Requirements

  • 15-20 years of progressive leadership experience in Financial Services, Payments, or Business Development, ideally within a global technology or financial organization
  • Proven success as a General Manager or Business Unit Leader with direct P&L accountability of over $1B
  • Deep knowledge of payments, credit, lending, and insurance ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success in strategic partnership management and large-scale negotiations
  • Strong commercial, financial, and operational acumen
  • Executive-level communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across complex organizations
  • Experience building high-performing teams and driving measurable business results
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the Financial Services vision and business strategy, developing multi-year strategic and financial plans, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning cross-functional execution
  • Own the P&L, delivering on financial targets, managing budgets, and driving operational efficiency across the financial services portfolio
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships by identifying, negotiating, and overseeing relationships with associations, banks, fintechs, insurers, and other financial institutions
  • Oversee business operations to ensure compliance, governance, and excellence in execution across partner and operational processes
  • Shape the customer and partner experience by delivering trusted financial solutions that strengthen engagement and retention across eBay’s marketplace
  • Collaborate across eBay by working with product, engineering, legal, risk, and finance to scale and sustain financial services innovation
  • Represent eBay Services externally with industry partners and stakeholders to advance eBay’s financial services presence and influence
