Responsibilities

  • Oversee the front-end design strategy of the Design System (Dialtone) – style, components, and patterns
  • Lead through design, influencing how Dialtone and the design system team mature for large, high-visibility initiatives and team contributions
  • Advance and scale a design-focused prototyping practice to explore feasibility, evaluate emerging AI capabilities, and AI design patterns
  • Rapidly build functional prototypes that inform product direction
  • Design and build tooling (internal utilities, plugins, scripts) that supports product designers, researchers, and engineers to accelerate iteration and experimentation
  • Prototype and validate new interaction models for AI-powered workflows, leveraging technologies like Model Context Protocol (MCP), modern front-end frameworks, LLM APIs, and generative AI services
  • Ensure quality and performance in everything built, with accessibility, maintainability, and performance as first-class concerns
  • Act as a guardian of consistency, championing reusable components
