Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced level of proficiency with clinical electronic data capture (EDC) systems, such as Medidata Rave
  • Experience with clinical trial management systems
  • Familiarity with SQL and advanced query development
  • Experience in Rave Custom Function
  • Specialized knowledge of clinical database systems
  • Big-picture and detail-oriented view of development processes, tools, and procedures
  • Understanding of industry standards
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects
  • Established and productive individual contributor capable of setting objectives for own job area

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, test, and/or support clinical study databases and configuration of cross-system interfaces per business process
  • Support the design, development, testing, and/or maintenance of Clinical Reports, Clinical Data Transfers, or other components related to clinical studies
  • Partner as clinical technical specialists in the planning, designing, and implementing of clinical applications
  • Provide technical consultation on and task direction for vendors
  • Mentor more junior team members
  • Perform project management tasks, such as time management, manage budget, manage milestones, communicate progress, and resolve issues
  • Stay current on technologies, methods, standards, best practices, trends, and direction of the clinical data management industry
  • Review and acknowledge all Standard Operating Procedures and other quality requirements assigned to the job role
  • Deliver and/or manage projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies
  • Work with stakeholders to achieve desired results and contribute to project milestones
