Requirements

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Advanced level of proficiency with clinical electronic data capture (EDC) systems, such as Medidata Rave
Experience with clinical trial management systems
Familiarity with SQL and advanced query development
Experience in Rave Custom Function
Specialized knowledge of clinical database systems
Big-picture and detail-oriented view of development processes, tools, and procedures
Understanding of industry standards
Ability to work independently with general supervision on larger, moderately complex projects
Established and productive individual contributor capable of setting objectives for own job area

Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test, and/or support clinical study databases and configuration of cross-system interfaces per business process
Support the design, development, testing, and/or maintenance of Clinical Reports, Clinical Data Transfers, or other components related to clinical studies
Partner as clinical technical specialists in the planning, designing, and implementing of clinical applications
Provide technical consultation on and task direction for vendors
Mentor more junior team members
Perform project management tasks, such as time management, manage budget, manage milestones, communicate progress, and resolve issues
Stay current on technologies, methods, standards, best practices, trends, and direction of the clinical data management industry
Review and acknowledge all Standard Operating Procedures and other quality requirements assigned to the job role
Deliver and/or manage projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies
Work with stakeholders to achieve desired results and contribute to project milestones
