Responsibilities

The Senior Business Analyst analyzes the needs of Republic Services’ most complex functional business areas, providing recommendations on system solutions or procedures, and acting as a liaison between the business and IT department to ensure scope is clearly documented, communicated, and validated. They create detailed documentation of functional, system, user, and reporting requirements, performs research and analysis for proposed projects, conducts data profiling and analysis, supports user acceptance testing, assists with value proposition development, helps define and control project scope, and works with IT Managers to create detailed work plans. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with software vendors and implementation partners, instructing and guiding other Business Analysts, and performing other duties as assigned.
