Requirements

3-6+ years of top tier professional experience from a Strategic Finance, Business Operations, FP&A, or other highly analytical role at a fast-growing startup, possibly starting in investing, management consulting, and/or investment banking
High analytical horsepower paired with strong modeling and data skills; ability to translate business concepts to well-structured spreadsheet models; excitement to learn new analytical tools and generate insights through data; familiarity with SQL/database concepts and modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Pigment) is a big plus
Attention to detail and strong strategic instincts; meticulous in ensuring precise and error-free output, paired with 80/20 sense to prioritize critical vs. secondary elements
A growth mindset and comfort with ambiguity; ability to create structure out of ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and pivot quickly in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent communication and partnership skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders (e.g., sales reps to engineers), build credibility, relationships, and buy-in; fantastic written and verbal communication skills
A team player with a low “ego to smarts ratio”; positive, learn-it-all energy; known for being great to work with
Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week

Responsibilities

Be the primary Finance business partner to several senior leaders
Drive financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ad hoc analysis for these teams to improve overall financial discipline and predictability
Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and operating efficiency, and work cross-functionally to tackle critical change projects to realize these opportunities
Help operate the business at the next level of scale through better tooling, self-serve automation, and internal processes
