Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience OR B.S./B.A. degree
  • M.B.A., M.P.H., or other advanced degree welcomed
  • High attention to detail and creativity
  • Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting in a sales or business development environment
  • Ability to function in a startup environment and manage in the midst of ambiguity
  • Very smart, highly motivated, confident professional comfortable working with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with strong executive presence

  • Willing to work a hybrid schedule (remote and in-office)

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Sr. Director or Manager of Provider Services
  • Hires at least 20 providers each year
  • Executes the recruiting function for the company, including family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, cardiology, psychiatry, podiatry, nephrology, and other strategic specialties
  • Works closely with Regional Vice Presidents, Senior Medical Directors, and Executive Medical Directors to execute provider hiring in various markets
  • Assists in meeting physician and APP recruitment needs and fulfilling recruitment strategy
  • Researches networking opportunities and runs cost-benefit analysis for each opportunity
  • Develops additional physician and APP sourcing methods
  • Develops relationships and maintains the candidate pipeline by working with schools, residency/fellowship programs, medical societies/associations
  • Pre-screens candidates, coordinates remote and on-site interviews, and collects and synthesizes feedback from interview panel
  • Has or can develop intimate knowledge of the medical training process (medical school, internship, residency, etc.)
  • Maintains database of candidate information and develops physician recruitment metrics to measure success and plan for future recruitment initiatives
  • Attends conferences, on-site interviews, and Grand Rounds which involve minimal travel
  • Other duties as assigned
