Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the development of strategic plans for existing, new, or proposed business operations
  • Provides analysis and evaluation of cost/expense problems and profit improvement opportunities within current business activities
  • Recommends changes in analysis and budgetary methods and procedures; analyzes the impact of various corporate projects and transactions
  • Analyzes and communicates weekly metrics, monthly results, quarterly and annual projections
  • Performs and critiques economic evaluation justifications for capital expenditures
  • Prepares monthly partner payments and accruals for new Comcast programming products and services (linear programming, subscription services, transactional content)
  • Reconciles payments and accruals, records journal entries, provides financial analysis, reporting, and general support for the Program Accounting Department to meet deadlines in compliance with GAAP
  • Supports forecasting and budgeting modeling and other ad hoc processes as needed
  • Develops and maintains operational efficiencies; develops and implements new automations to simplify processes
  • Develops analytic reporting tools and applications to reduce procedural redundancies and manual data entry
  • Participates in special projects, preparing financial data as necessary
  • Provides financial analysis support to department managers
  • Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Owns the customer experience, knows products/services, wins as a team, participates in Net Promoter System, drives results and growth, supports inclusion
  • Other duties as assigned
