  • Graduate level with a Mechanical Engineering degree or similar (candidates finishing 3rd year of a degree course could be considered)
  • English communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data
  • Interest in design and technology
  • 3D modeling (Pro/E)
  • Knowledge of prototyping, material, tooling, and molding (plus)
  • Involvement in gaming (advantage)

Responsibilities

  • Review current product designs in the market and understand product parameters
  • Analyze and identify parameters and other aspects of design
  • Conduct extensive prototyping based on parameters to validate output
  • Use measurement and testing equipment (e.g., optical CMM measurement, drop test testing) to support output
  • Organize user testing and qualification
  • Create sketches, drawings, renderings, and presentations
  • Deliver a summary of parameters analysis and output of user tests
  • Deliver a fully functional prototype to demonstrate parameters
