Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum O level qualification, along with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. They must have basic computer skills and the ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow, as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

The Specimen Management Associate will assist with the receipt, storage, and shipment of clinical specimens, opening shipments, conducting quality checks of patient information forms, and escalating incorrect or missing information. They will ensure specimens are not left in kit packaging, ship specimens for long-term storage or clients, handle receipt of compounds and control material, support after-hour alarms, assist with equipment maintenance and supply inventory, organize the work area, follow safety procedures, participate in continuing education, and perform various administrative duties as required.
