Requirements

Integrity and curiosity (expected of all Scout employees)
General level of technical understanding related to maintenance, time-based maintenance (TBM), condition-based maintenance (CBM), and dynamic maintenance (DM)
Ability to attend in office with in-person meetings and events regularly
Ability to travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time

Responsibilities

Develop and lead TPM strategies of the Bodyshop maintenance department
Coordinate (PSEDQC) People, Safety, Environment, Delivery, Quality, and Cost initiatives
Provide coaching and mentoring to team members regarding Scout Production System techniques for problem solving and corrective action implementation
Influence key performance indicators (KPIs), mean time between failure (MTBF) of components and equipment, mean time to repair (MTTR), and maintain equipment at basic conditions with continuous improvements
Actively participate and lead kaizen project activities centered on Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvements and waste reduction opportunities
Train production operators on basic equipment care (autonomous maintenance)
Responsibly handle emergency situations
Reinforce compliance with LOTO and other safety programs, including audits and observation tours
Work closely with Spare Part storage to create TPM Baskets
Interface with counterparts in other departments of the Factory
Design and develop the CMMS system to implement a TPM strategy
Track budgets and report on Maintenance costs, PM effectiveness, labor hours, and operating budgets
Create maintenance schedules (preventive & predictive)
Plan and schedule downtime maintenance activities for condition-based repairs and Preventative and Predictive Maintenance strategies
Maintain all process equipment per the OEM manufacturers’ recommendations
Maintain shop records and drawings
Develop projects that will support continuous improvement and increase production line efficiency
