We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to support our Zoom products in the German market. This role is crucial for assisting customers in adopting and integrating Zoom solutions into their Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) strategies. It presents an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their technical careers to develop deep expertise in unified communications and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

About the Team

The Solutions Engineering team collaborates closely with Sales, Support, and Product departments to provide exceptional technical support and guidance. We value teamwork, continuous learning, and a strong customer-centric approach. As a vital member of the team, you will contribute to technical discussions and help customers maximize the benefits of Zoom.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for Zoom products to German-speaking customers.
  • Support the resolution of customer escalations in conjunction with senior engineers.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and collaborate with internal teams to expedite solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources, including troubleshooting guides and help center articles.
  • Drive proof-of-concept initiatives with customers.
  • Participate in lab testing and product learning activities to build hands-on expertise.
  • Support the Sales team by addressing technical inquiries during the sales process.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a pre-sales role.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of VOIP and networking concepts (e.g., SIP, RTP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).
    • Familiarity with firewalls, switches, cloud-based telephony, or contact center platforms.
