The Solution Consultant, Docketwise, serves as an industry and technical advisor in the pre-sales process, partnering with the sales team to understand customer needs, strategize sales cycles, provide demonstrations, support free trials, and ultimately close business. Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role at a software company.
  • Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in the legal industry (e.g., paralegal, office administrator, legal clerk).
  • Docketwise Experience: Previous experience using Docketwise is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to autonomously manage ambiguous situations.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish/English is not required but is greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales Team to articulate the overall AffiniPay value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Technically close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, industry knowledge, and credibility.
  • Understand customer problems and pain points and demonstrate the unique value of AffiniPay's technical solutions.
  • Craft custom demonstrations and value propositions by practice area, segment, and persona.
  • Own product engagement with customers during the trial phase, addressing issues and concerns.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for the sales team regarding product, requirements, and business fit.
  • Deliver product and technical demonstrations/presentations to potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input (wins and losses).
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and internal teams regarding product feedback, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Train the sales team on demo techniques and provide resources to enhance their skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
