Requirements

3+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Forward-Deployed Engineer or similar, ideally at a SaaS or API-driven company. Preferably, experience working with fintech companies
Strong technical proficiency with REST APIs, integration design, and developer workflows
Excellent communication skills to lead technical discussions with engineering teams and explain complex topics clearly to business stakeholders
Builder mindset with enjoyment in creating demos, writing documentation, and solving problems end to end
Experience in a highly collaborative and adaptable fast-paced startup environment
Bonus: Experience working with Accounting, Payments, or Commerce systems
Must be based in NYC and able to work a hybrid role at the Flatiron, Manhattan office
Flexibility and understanding of differences between working with prospects (pre-sales) vs customers (post-sales)

Responsibilities

Lead customer implementations, including discovery, solution design, and technical implementation for customer integrations across accounting, commerce, and banking platforms
Partner with sales and product teams by supporting the pre-sales process, leading technical conversations, designing tailored solutions, and delivering demos and proofs-of-concept
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on best practices for API usage, data mapping, and integration architecture to ensure scalable, reliable implementations
Influence product and roadmap by collaborating with engineering and product teams to identify gaps, propose enhancements, and shape new capabilities based on customer needs
Build enablement resources such as sample apps, implementation guides, internal documentation, and demo flows to accelerate prospect/customer success and internal efficiency
