Solution Architect - ANZ/ASEAN

Position Overview

ClickHouse is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to join our rapidly growing team and help build out our user and customer community in the ANZ/ASEAN region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of open-source database technology, following a successful Series C funding round. The ideal candidate will be a technical professional capable of offering customers specialized business solutions and technical expertise based on their use case, acting as a trusted advisor to help clients achieve their objectives and better understand how they utilize ClickHouse.

Responsibilities

• Working with complex business and technological requirements and translating them into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture.
• Working directly with customers at every layer of their organization (C-Suite to data scientists and developers) and acting as a trusted advisor for our users.
• Articulating and evangelizing the vision and positioning of both the company and products, and securing strategic commercial commitments.
• Using a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
• Identifying and driving new initiatives that enable customers to turn their data into actionable business value and aligning these initiatives with their business outcomes for continued success.
• Working with partners to help scale the business and build a strong technical ecosystem to support our customers in the Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN regions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience at a minimum with Open Source Software business models.
• Proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software.
• Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
• Experience with creating POCs and reference implementations.
• Fluency in English.

Bonus Points

• Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with any of the major cloud providers.
• Experience with database programming and data models.
