Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience or equivalent practical experience, preferably in business, technology, or finance
  • Five years of vendor management experience in strategic sourcing, business operations, program management, or related field
  • Experience handling contracts as a software asset management or technology sourcing manager
  • Experience in handling budgets and driving cost reduction programs
  • Experience presenting and communicating with senior leadership
  • Preferred: 5+ years experience handling cross-functional projects with technical and non-technical partners
  • Preferred: 5+ years experience in the technology industry
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, ITSM tools, project planning tools (ex: ServiceNow, Monday.com, Ariba, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the budget, including vendor management, quarterly forecasts, identifying savings and risks, and new budget requests
  • Work closely with Legal, Infosec, Privacy, and Third Party Risk Management teams to finalize legal agreements (e.g., Purchase Agreements, Licence Agreements, SOWs, and Renewals)
  • Assess software compliance and risk exposure during onboarding and periodically thereafter
  • Promptly and professionally address and resolve vendor onboarding, payment issues, and disputes
  • Spearhead and handle business contract discussions and vendor negotiations
  • Evaluate potential projects, conduct cost-benefit analyses, and prioritize budget spending to optimize value
  • Lead demand planning, forecasting, and budget optimization for eBay Core Technology, involving software contract management, financial oversight, and strategic sourcing
  • Optimize team procedures and collaborate with various business areas and senior leadership
