Candidates must possess a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field and have a high-intermediate level of English. Required skills include knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum), good knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and fixing skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, are essential. The candidate must be performance-driven, highly motivated, and capable of stepping up when needed. Desired skills include knowledge of Test Management systems, OOP design principles, experience in C#, Java, and Python, good experience in GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps, service-orientated architecture/micro-service/API testing experience, and experience writing and performing manual and automated tests on Desktop and web-based platforms. Experience with Agile practices like Scrum or Kanban and related tools like Jira or Azure DevOps is also desired, along with a commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

The Software Testing Engineer will design, develop, and implement software test plans and test case solutions for complex testing needs. They will collaborate with agile development teams, participate in Scrum meetings, and align with SDLC requirements for ticket management, testing artifacts, and documentation. Responsibilities include summarizing and reporting on development team progress against testing plans and execution results, creating automated testing scenarios for technically challenging components, and writing functional automated tests as part of CI build-pipelines. The role involves diagnosing issues, reporting defects, proposing regression tests, contributing to performance testing infrastructure development, and driving organization-wide adoption of automated testing frameworks. Additionally, the engineer will define high-level test plans, create and implement test cases for functional, integration, system, and regression testing, and implement and use automation frameworks in Web testing using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
