This role involves working as part of a team focused on the development of NVIDIA’s networking and interconnect products. The Test Development Engineer will be responsible for developing test plans, automating test specification and execution, and continuously innovating to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems and tools. The role requires a passion for automation, test program development, and code writing.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in test development or related field.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C#, C++. (Python, Java, C# strongly desired)
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and lead projects, highly motivated.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans and execute testing via automation and/or manual methods for all supported hardware releases.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, thermal, mechanical, and HW) to identify test requirements.
  • Develop automation and tools for NVIDIA hardware releases and test environments.
  • Debug hardware and software failures in interconnect products, isolate the root cause, and provide solutions.
  • Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
  • Deploy test solutions to production sites and provide ongoing support.
  • Train personnel on required processes and operations of complex test systems.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd (Optional Skills)

  • Experience with test/validate large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
  • Hands-on experience with electronic platforms (micro-controllers, DSP, embedded firmware).
  • Proficiency with other programming languages and domains (C/C++, C#, Linux, etc.).
  • In-depth software development or electronics experience with proven work in writing verification code.
