Requirements

  • BTech/MTech or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of hands-on software testing experience
  • Exposure to end-to-end test management and able to work independently
  • Experience with Web Automation tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/WebDriverIO and CI tools like Jenkins/CircleCI
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams and build consensus
  • Knowledge of writing test plans for end-to-end workflows and test management suites
  • Understanding of test methodologies like functional, performance, security testing etc
  • Good analytical, critical and logical thinking and a problem solver
  • Working in an environment where quality is top of the mind (unit, integration, e2e testing)
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM practice

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QE strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and objectives
  • Design, develop, and complete test plans and test cases
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
  • Ensure alignment to industry standards and recommended guidelines
  • Continuously improve QE processes and methodologies
  • Collaborate with product managers and other team members to ensure alignment on quality goals
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues
  • Monitor and report on QE metrics and performance indicators
  • Drive the adoption of automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team
