Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, preferably in embedded systems or wireless communications
  • Direct experience with testing LTE or 5G stack implementations is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in testing real-time software in a Linux environment
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest, or custom scripts)
  • Knowledge of programming in C++ or Python for test development and automation
  • Familiarity with wireless communications protocols and concepts
  • Hands-on experience with automation of test equipment such as spectrum analyzer, VSA, channel emulator, and traffic generator
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate 5G algorithms and embedded software
  • Perform functional, performance, stress, and regression testing on high-performance, real-time software for 5G cellular products
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Verify and validate software against product requirement specifications and customer use cases
  • Collaborate with system architects and developers to understand feature designs and ensure test coverage
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency
  • Conduct technical analysis of test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
  • Assist in debugging and root cause analysis of issues found during testing
  • Support the development of workflows to optimize system performance based on customer use cases
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations
