Requirements

Candidates must possess 8+ years of industry experience with at least 3 years of experience as a manager leading successful software teams in a data-driven environment, along with proficiency in Java programming and demonstrated coding skills during the interview. Experience with real-time data streaming using technologies like Apache Flink and AWS Kinesis is required, as well as experience with Kubernetes and a broad mix of technologies including Java, AWS, CI/CD, Automated Testing, and MySQL. A strong understanding of streaming data architecture, design, and implementation, and SaaS experience with a track record of design and implementation for scaling large systems are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineering Manager will manage complex technical projects and teams deeply rooted in data, drive the Agile principles and ensure a high-performing team, hire, mentor, and grow passionate individuals, lead and motivate software engineers, and rapidly earn the trust of teams and individuals across the company by applying intelligence, initiative, integrity, domain knowledge, verbal agility, and diplomacy. They will contribute to the ingestion and processing of real-time streaming events for the Customer Data Platform (CDP) product, impacting customer segmentation, marketing automation, and insights for customers.
