General Assembly is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Instructor for our full-time (12-week) Software Engineering Bootcamp. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a life-changing impact by sharing your expertise in front-end and back-end development with the next generation of web developers. The bootcamp is delivered in a hybrid format, requiring instructors to reside in Singapore and hold an eligible work permit or be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. (GA is not currently sponsoring employees.)

Requirements

  • Experience: Strong front-end and back-end development experience.
  • Residency: Must reside in Singapore.
  • Work Permit/Citizenship: Eligible work permit or Singapore citizen/permanent resident.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the instructional team (co-lead instructors, instructional associates, instructor manager) to guide students through a rigorous, transformational journey.
  • Inspire and support students as they identify their passions and drive their own continued learning beyond the curriculum.
  • Become a better leader, coach, and mentor as you learn from students, experienced instructors, and the larger General Assembly community.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the curriculum.
