Requirements

Experience with analytical and programming skills and open-source systems such as Apache Storm, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Graph DB to develop data processing pipelines with required efficacy and latency (40%)
Good knowledge and experience of big data tool sets and techniques for distributed storage and computation engines
Experience developing reusable and highly scalable data processing components
Good knowledge and experience working with cloud-based CI/CD tools and cloud DevOps teams to collect stats and create monitors for data processing pipelines
Ability to develop good quality Python APIs to support microservices (40%)
Knowledge of APIs to various NoSQL storage systems, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Redis
Good understanding of Python Flask web services and ability to develop good quality code
Ability to troubleshoot production environments and customer-reported issues (20%)
Knowledge of multi-cloud production environments
Experience in data science-related research, software application development, and engineering related to enterprise-grade Wi-Fi technology and autonomous platforms
Experience dealing with huge amounts of data generated by communication protocols
Knowledge of wireless communication networks, machine learning, and software engineering to develop and implement scalable algorithms for processing large amounts of streaming data in real-time
Advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, regarded as a subject matter expert

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to build the next generation of autonomous Wi-Fi networks leveraging big data and predictive models
Develop and implement scalable algorithms to process large amounts of streaming data to detect anomalies, predict problems, and classify them in real-time
Leverage data collected from the Wi-Fi network to empower the inference engine of the Mist platform and systems, including the Mist virtual assistant chatbot
Determine the likelihood of failures across the Wi-Fi network and perform failure scope analysis
Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for software enhancements and new products, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools
Determine hardware compatibility and/or influence hardware design
Provide expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and participate in cross-functional initiatives
Exercise significant independent judgment to determine the best method for achieving objectives
Provide team leadership and mentoring to others
Contribute to technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainably
