Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong focus on user experience and design, demonstrating a deep understanding of Typescript, CSS, React, React Native, HTML, and modern front-end design patterns and best practices. They should have proven experience in building features and experiences for consumer products and a passion for pixel-perfect design and detail.
The Software Engineer, Safety will design and develop the front-end experience of how users interact with trust and safety systems, balancing the needs for reducing risk, improving UX, and enhancing platform reliability and scalability. They will collaborate with product teams to create modular and scalable safety design systems, work with the Trust & Safety team to understand moderation workflows and build tools, evaluate and integrate third-party solutions, and help leverage user data and insights to improve AI models and predictions. Additionally, they will ensure that data insights are clearly surfaced to support safe and positive user experiences across the platform.
