Candidates should possess experience developing Android native apps/services in Kotlin, along with proven ability to develop, test, and deploy new features in a pragmatic way, and strong debug skills with Android debugging tools. Experience building and shipping Android apps on custom hardware is also required, as is excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Git is desirable, and experience working with Android Camera2, Kotlin Flow, and integration of machine learning models is considered a plus.
As a Software Engineer III, Android Apps at Flock Safety, you will support the growth of various applications, including parking and DOT applications, and contribute to the development of the flagship LPR product. You will be involved in tackling complex challenges such as new use case development, system performance optimization, image quality enhancement, and integration of cutting-edge machine learning models, ultimately playing a vital role in creating safer and more efficient communities.
