Requirements

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code, along with experience using Ruby or Python and React or Vue. They should have experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, designing scalable and maintainable APIs, and understanding CI/CD pipelines. Furthermore, candidates must have exposure to LLMs and GenAI best practices, familiarity with AI development tools like Cursor or Copilot, and an understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and deployment tools like Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer II will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build the backends that power mobile applications and web applications, contributing to the delivery of high-quality web application code through code reviews and tests. They will proactively address reliability issues in production, learn and apply best practices for architecture and system design, leverage AI tools across the software development lifecycle, and collaborate with AI experts to integrate AI into existing systems. Additionally, they will contribute ideas, adopt new technologies, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system stability and resolve critical problems.
