Responsibilities

Own and build key parts of the product end-to-end with a customer-driven focus
Collaborate with a world-class engineering team, emphasizing open feedback to solve challenging problems
Build and embody team culture, setting a high bar for the engineering team
Define and drive the build of the Underwriting (UW) platform and data-driven risk engine, leveraging AI, explainable ML, and a Domain Specific Language (DSL) for underwriters and actuaries
Build a state-machine-driven system to support complex insurance workflows involving multiple parties (customers, agents, underwriters) and manage complexity as new products are added
Build the Safety First Insurance Platform, focusing on consumer-grade tech to engage customers, prevent accidents, and support their safety journey with a product-focused approach
