Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with 1+ years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in modern coding languages and frameworks, as well as proven ability with algorithms, data structures, data modeling, and schema design are required. Bonus points for experience with Golang, Typescript/React, video delivery concepts, AWS Interactive Video Service, and familiarity with Twitch or gaming/streaming.
The Software Development Engineer will build and maintain the services that power Twitch's video platform. They will collaborate effectively with product managers, program managers, and other engineering teams at Twitch. Additionally, they will contribute positively to Twitch's engineering culture.
