Candidates should have 6+ years of experience developing software in a team environment, preferably building distributed systems, and strong experience in the healthcare industry with a deep understanding of FHIR and Smart on FHIR standards. They should have experience developing API endpoints with Java or Python, along with a solid understanding of web and mobile user interface design best practices. Additionally, candidates should be tenacious, resourceful, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to think strategically around trade-offs and short-term versus long-term goals.
The Software Engineer will write and implement code, perform local testing, write technical specifications, receive and apply feedback, review pull requests, implement and test updates for design systems, identify and propose solutions to blockers, collaborate with internal and external engineers, attend meetings, participate in retrospectives, share expertise, serve as a resource to peers, participate in Engineering critiques, and interface with clients to provide project updates and propose solutions.
