Senior Solutions Architect, HPC Systems Engineer
NVIDIA- Full Time
- Senior (5 to 8 years)
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in supercomputing, large system modeling, and simulation for mission-critical infrastructure. Strong experience in large-scale digital twin development and predictive analytics is required, along with a proven track record in modeling system development, validation, and verification for data centers or similarly complex environments. Expertise in developing backend modeling software and building visualization tools for performance analysis is essential. Familiarity with networking, power, cooling, logistics, and data center operations is necessary. Candidates should possess the ability to quickly implement reliable software and analyze complex datasets for optimization. Experience integrating simulation tools with real-world operational workflows is also required. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is needed, with advanced degrees preferred.
The Software Engineer will design and develop modeling tools to evaluate data center design, performance, cost, and operational trade-offs from concept to operation phase. They will build simulation frameworks that generate Bill of Materials (BOMs), validate deliveries, and provide predictive performance and reliability analysis. The role involves developing both backend modeling software and intuitive front-end visualization tools to enable data-driven decision-making. They will integrate simulation models into existing workflows, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with real-world constraints, leverage digital twin methodologies for predictive modeling, analyze and back-test predictions to improve accuracy, and think big about system-scale modeling to support the next generation of hyper-scale data centers.
Develops safe and beneficial AI technologies
OpenAI develops and deploys artificial intelligence technologies aimed at benefiting humanity. The company creates advanced AI models capable of performing various tasks, such as automating processes and enhancing creativity. OpenAI's products, like Sora, allow users to generate videos from text descriptions, showcasing the versatility of its AI applications. Unlike many competitors, OpenAI operates under a capped profit model, which limits the profits it can make and ensures that excess earnings are redistributed to maximize the social benefits of AI. This commitment to safety and ethical considerations is central to its mission of ensuring that artificial general intelligence (AGI) serves all of humanity.
