Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, Next.js
  • Experience with CSS-in-JS, component libraries/design systems, Storybook, and accessibility standards
  • Experience writing unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library
  • Experience with UX design tools like Figma
  • Familiarity with API design and integration (REST, GraphQL)
  • Understanding of security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
  • Collaborative mindset with respect for diverse perspectives
  • Experience with current development technologies, methodologies and workflows including CI/CD, Agile development (Scrum, JIRA), Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Terraform, Docker
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver complex features and medium-sized projects with minimal oversight
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and make informed technical decisions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, accessible applications (WCAG 2.1 AA)
  • Act as a go-to team contributor for debugging and problem-solving
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing
  • Improve code quality and workflows through refactoring, standards, and best practices
