Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of industry software development experience
  • Strong grasp of algorithms and data structures
  • Proven expertise in Java/Scala, Object Oriented Programming principles, clean design, and design patterns
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in NoSQL or Distributed Databases (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with open-source technologies such as Spark, Hadoop Stack, and Kafka (preferred)
  • Adaptable to evolving priorities, accepting challenges outside one's comfort zone, learning new technologies, and delivering viable solutions within defined time boundaries

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multi-functional teams (Product Management, Design, Engineering, etc.) to create high-performance, fault-tolerant systems for large-scale data processing
  • Strengthen system reliability by crafting scalable architectures and integrating failure resistance into automation and monitoring for distributed services
  • Engage in architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality implementations
  • Work within Agile methodologies while using industry-leading CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment
  • Document and present solutions through design documentation, code comments, technical presentations, and code execution
