Requirements

Minimum 5-6 years of experience in SAP Technical Administration with SAP BASIS skills
Knowledge and experience in Administration, monitoring, and Operations of SAP solutions
Must have skills: SAP Basis Administration; Knowledge of ECS support tools (LVM, SPC, JIRA, CRT, Customer Launch Pad, Service Now, TIC, etc.)
Strong SAP BASIS and system operations know-how, ideally in multi-cloud environment
Best practices experience in SAP application/technology/solution (NetWeaver)
Sound knowledge of BASIS activities: System Installations, Client Administration, System Refresh/Copy, application update/upgrades
Professional experience in Cloud infrastructure, system administration, or as a technical consultant in SAP cloud implementation & migration projects
Knowledge in design and structuring of integrated E2E Lifecycle Management Procedures
Understanding of ECS Architecture (SME level)
15 years full-time education
Good to have: Knowledge of OS, Database & Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients
Perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work
Support delivery of robust, downtime optimized, and highly automated lifecycle management activities within ECS using SPC tool
Support a range of SAP systems including ABAP, Java stack, Non-NetWeaver systems
Plan/Validate/Maintain Procedures according to ECS standards and non-standard procedures as requested by stakeholders
Monitor Procedure execution and identify task errors and reasons
Get feedback from Delivery Team, SEO, and Service Owners to identify scope of Procedure enhancement
Prepare and maintain ‘Task failure analysis report’ and track ‘First time Success Rate’
Propose solutions and suggest modifications in Procedures by discussing with POs
Drive procedure enhancement by coordinating with developers/SEO/PO/Developer
Coordinate with developers and provide required inputs
Support Delivery colleagues in case of Procedure failure and propose immediate workarounds
