Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, aerospace, data science, or a related technical field
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in software development
Strong skills in AWS cloud infrastructure (back-end: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Rust; front-end: React)
Experience building scalable applications using microservices architecture or managed Kafka (Confluent Cloud)
(Preferred) Advanced Ruby on Rails experience
(Preferred) Image processing experience
(Preferred) Astrodynamics, GNC, or physics experience for satellite simulations

Responsibilities

Work in-person 5 days/week in the Bellevue, WA office
Own end-to-end software development (e.g., build satellite imagery marketplace integrations, build satellite tasking systems, develop visualizations for tasking and telemetry, automate operations, build image processing pipelines)
Integrate Major Tom with additional Ground Station Network providers via APIs
Collaborate with the satellite operations team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software
Identify and troubleshoot customer-reported issues and implement solutions
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for the software
