Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate proven experience in software development with a focus on bot development or maintenance. Familiarity with bot frameworks such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Dialogflow, or Rasa is required, alongside proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, or C#. A strong understanding of RESTful APIs, integrations, and webhooks, coupled with experience utilizing cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for bot hosting, is also necessary. Knowledge of debugging, testing, and version control tools, including Git, is essential.
The Software Bot Developer will conduct regular maintenance and performance checks on the bot to ensure optimal functionality, implement upgrades and enhancements based on user requirements and organizational goals, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and integrate new features. The role also involves monitoring bot performance, analyzing logs, and suggesting improvements to streamline processes, as well as documenting updates, changes, and best practices for future reference and continuity.
