Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Planet's corporate brand and limited executive team members, including CEO and Co-Founder
  • Develop and implement social media strategy for all corporate channels: X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, and YouTube
  • Create and manage executive social media presence (starting with CEO) on X and LinkedIn, including content strategy, ghostwriting, and community engagement
  • Oversee day-to-day social media operations: content creation, light video creation/editing, scheduling, publishing, community management, real-time monitoring
  • Partner with global cross-functional teams (Marketing, Government Affairs, Product) to align social efforts with business goals, markets, and campaigns
  • Collaborate with in-house and agency Marketing video content creators to produce compelling content
  • Analyze social media metrics and trends to inform strategy, optimize performance, and report KPIs to leadership
  • Identify and manage proactive brand moments; provide reactive support for issues
  • Stay up-to-date on cultural and social media trends/platforms; identify real-time relevant social moments to increase brand awareness
