Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills in cybersecurity
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud security concepts, EDR, SIEM, and SOAR
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH, or similar (advantageous)
  • SOC experience with a focus on security event analysis and incident response (advantageous)
  • Analytical mindset with detail-oriented analysis and interest in interpreting complex cybersecurity data
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various departments
  • Strategic perspective to contribute to overall security strategy
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic threat landscape, especially under pressure during high-severity incidents
  • Meticulous attention to detail in event analysis and incident documentation
  • Proactive learning to stay updated with the latest in cybersecurity

Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and analyze cybersecurity events from various sources
  • Use analytical skills to identify, assess, and understand potential security incidents and trends
  • Play a key role in the incident response process, focusing on the analysis and interpretation of threat data to guide response actions
  • Leverage threat intelligence to enhance the understanding of potential security threats and inform the organization’s cybersecurity posture
  • Prepare clear and detailed reports on security findings and trends
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in cybersecurity event analysis and reporting
  • Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance analysis capabilities
