Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of experience selling group insurance, specifically Dental, Vision, and other Ancillary products. A background in consultative selling and proven experience building relationships with brokers are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, business and financial acumen, valid state Health and Life insurance licenses, a valid state driver's license, and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance are also required. The ability to travel occasionally to the market is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Small Group Sales Representative will sell Ancillary Group insurance products to new and existing accounts with 2-25 eligible employees, focusing on discovering, developing, and maintaining benefits brokerage relationships to drive sales and retention. Responsibilities include achieving personal sales production expectations, tracking activities in the CRM system, understanding Humana's business and diverse Group products, collaborating with sales executives to expand relationships, implementing new sales initiatives, supporting the market team, coordinating with other departments, building the Humana brand, identifying strategic relationships, and occasionally setting up new cases and participating in enrollments.
