Requirements

  • Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture across the store
  • Retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies
  • Skills in planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
  • Knowledge of process improvements and workload efficiency
  • Leading a team of hourly team members including: skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating and retaining talent
  • Ability to work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (this includes early morning, evening, overnight shifts and weekends)

Responsibilities

  • Understand sales goals, plan daily/weekly workload with guidance from leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including: planning merchandising, pricing workload, making changes to salesfloor merchandise displays, sales plans and promotions
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach team members’ expectations to deliver the service standard
  • Enable a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor
  • Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency
  • With guidance from direct leader, manage incoming and outgoing products, maintain stock levels, ensuring inventory accuracy, and executing product arrangement, pricing and promotional signing processes for assigned department(s)
  • Assign daily tasks to TMs based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, ensuring alignment with weekly and monthly priorities set by direct leader
  • With guidance from leader, help lead team members in department(s) in the backroom and sales floor areas, review all reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve in accordance to leader’s direction
  • Enable efficient delivery to guests by leading pick, pack and ship fulfillment work, as applicable
