Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with 6 months to 1 year of inside sales and/or customer service experience. Previous healthcare experience and familiarity with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare) are preferred, and a certification is not required.
The Sleep Supply Specialist will serve as the primary patient point of contact for sales and service calls, identifying patient needs and providing solutions, confirming patient eligibility and medical information, processing orders and returns, scheduling RT refits and phone visits, educating patients on sleep therapy, and upselling relevant items. They will also achieve sales targets, communicate the billing process, verify order status, expedite patient problems, accurately document patient accounts, attend training, offer ideas for business growth, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, performing other duties as assigned.
