Position Overview

At Baxter, our mission is to save and sustain lives. As an Account Executive, Respiratory Health, you will be instrumental in selling Baxter's Respiratory Health products to a diverse range of clients, including hospitals, physician offices, clinics, home care, and long-term care facilities. You will collaborate with internal partners to develop and implement strategic territory sales plans for Non-Invasive Ventilation, High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation, and Oscillating Lung Expansion products, programs, and services. This role requires managing both clinical and financial aspects of accounts to ensure customer satisfaction. You will be the primary connection to healthcare professionals, representing Baxter's solutions and contributing to business results through team collaboration and feedback.

Territory Information

  • Home Base: Long Island, NY
  • Territory: Long Island, NY
  • Travel: Up to 80-90% travel within the territory. A fleet vehicle is provided when available.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Manage a territory consisting of 100-125 verified targets.
  • Dedicate 15-20% of time to prospecting for new business.
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan and sales strategy.
  • Communicate Baxter’s competitive differentiation to drive sales and convert competitive accounts.
  • Complete company reports, plans, and projects according to company standards and deadlines.
  • Understand and adhere to company and regulatory/compliance policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. or equivalent related work experience required.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a top-level sales performer in medical devices, capital equipment, pharma, DME, or as a healthcare leader in a clinical environment.
  • Significant experience in negotiating and closing new business and/or budgeting.
  • Demonstrated strategic selling skills (strategy development and execution).
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Clinical experience in a Respiratory environment (RRT) is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation

  • Estimated Annual Pay Range: $80,000 - $110,000
  • This position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) for achieving sales targets.
  • Note: The actual salary may vary based on factors such as location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant considerations.
