Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability and willingness to complete all paperwork and SAP functions
  • Willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently
  • Willing and able to lift/lower/carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs
  • Willing and able to use rapid mental/muscular coordination simultaneously
  • Willing and able to use both hands
  • Willing and able to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours
  • Willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently
  • Willing and able to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees
  • Willing and able to distinguish between shades and/or colors

Responsibilities

  • Setup, tear down and proper operation of all the equipment in the department
  • Pack and weight all products accurately
  • Perform necessary weight and process checks
  • Remove inedible and/or rework from the clean room vestibule and transport it to the inedible tank and dump it
  • Empty film canisters
  • Maintain the line performance boards
  • Collect and process production samples and rework
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
  • Maintain general manufacturing practices
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management
