Requirements

Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to operate equipment as trained
Effective communicator who acts as an ambassador of service for the Company internally to staff and externally to guests with respect and maturity
Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and guest policies
Documentation of current membership status for a PSIA/AASI Level II Ski or Snowboard Certification
Strong technical skills needed for accurate daily reporting of Ski and Ride School (SRS) statistics
Extensive knowledge of the SRS operations, resort policies/procedures, teaching experience and management skills
Completion of the On-Hill Skier and/or Snowboarder Certification, depending on discipline
Completion of the required training checklist
Completion and passing of the discipline appropriate Clearance Card for each level of skill-based lessons
Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays at any of the BBMR resort locations
Successful completion of a background investigation
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Manage apprentice instructors, instructors and activity assistants in their daily job performance
Interact with guests and other departments on a regular basis
Train staff as needed
Assist with creating a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
Help staff teach children and/or adults how to ski and/or snowboard
