The Detonations and Threat Analysis (DATA) team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the next phase of growth for the Falcon Sandbox platform. This role is crucial for making CrowdStrike's world-class Sandbox environment available to the public operating space, extending its functionality beyond private sector organizations.

About Falcon Sandbox

Falcon Sandbox provides customers with an environment to derive intelligence, identify potential risks, and perform deep analysis of evasive and unknown threats. It enriches results with threat intelligence and delivers actionable indicators of compromise (IOCs), enabling security teams to better understand sophisticated malware attacks and strengthen their defenses.

Responsibilities

• Automate the deployment of infrastructure and application components.
• Monitor the stability of operating environments.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production failures.
• Actively seek opportunities to improve the performance and stability of infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of larger projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions through all phases of development into production.

Requirements

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef.
• Proficiency in writing code to automate standard practices using languages like Python, BASH, JAVA, or other modern languages.
• Experience with MicroService management using the HashiCorp stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault).
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with VMWare ESXi/VCenter use and management.
• Experience in multi-OS environments (Mac, Windows, Unix/Linux variants).
• Ability to support a 24x7 on-call rotation.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Desire and ability to work in a remote operating environment.
