Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure using Terraform for infrastructure as code, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Docker; implement best practices for container orchestration and management
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog for system performance and application health visibility
  • Define, monitor, and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reliable service delivery
  • Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, implement preventive solutions, and participate in post-incident reviews and blameless postmortems
  • Ensure reliability and stability of production environments; continuously assess and improve system reliability, identifying points of failure
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or Go to reduce manual intervention and improve reliability; implement and improve CI/CD pipelines
  • Enhance and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitLab CI for seamless deployments
  • Assist in capacity planning and scaling; implement auto-scaling strategies
  • Implement security best practices, ensure compliance with industry standards, and regularly review/update security policies
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliability and scalability of new features/services; provide technical support and guidance on infrastructure issues
  • Develop and maintain internal tools and services to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
  • Participate in on-call rotation to address production issues
