Candidates must be currently studying towards a degree in an Engineering (including General, Mechanical, Manufacturing / Production, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Software), Mathematics, Physics, Computing, or Natural Science discipline. A British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship is required, and successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
As a Simulation and Modelling Engineer, you will build simulation software using languages/environments such as Mathworks (MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow), Fortran, C/C++. You will develop and use system performance models, embedded systems, and real-time models for MBDA products, contributing to internal design guidance, customer verification, training environments, and in-service support. You will also work closely with other departments and companies to integrate subsystem models and design data, gaining a broad understanding of weapon system architecture and capabilities.
