Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an Engineering (incl. General, Mechanical, Manufacturing / Production, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Software), Mathematics, Physics, Computing or Natural Science discipline (minimum 2:2)
  • British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
  • Able to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS)

Responsibilities

  • Build simulation software in programming languages/environments such as Mathworks (MATLAB, Simulink and Stateflow), Fortran, C/C++
  • Develop dynamic system performance models, embedded systems and real time models for MBDA products throughout the product lifecycle
  • Implement Agile working practices and dynamic working across multiple projects using collaborative tools
  • Work closely with other departments and companies to integrate subsystem models and design data
  • Apply intuition and innovation to solve complex problems in developing large-scale, sophisticated system-level models or real-time lower fidelity models
